Mt of Temptation/Bethlehem/Meeting Scouts from Palestine

The Mountain of Temptation where Jesus Christ fasted and prayed for 40 days and was tempted by the Devil was another intense hike.  Again the temperatures were between 105-110 degrees.  We walked silently praying.

After our trip to Bethlehem we stopped at a Greek Church and met with an Arab Orthodox Scouting Group who were camping for one week near the Church. All our youth enjoyed meeting scouts from another country!

 We are flying to Istanbul tomorrow - we had a lovely end our our pilgrimage, including a wedding of two of our Scouts from Russia!  pictures to follow....
